LMM Innovation Group was established in 2021 by Managing Director Lynn Murray, PhD to provide ongoing technology innovation research to former colleagues and new clients.

Experience and Education for Lynn

  • Intellectually curious, hard-working, and organized critical thinker with an interdisciplinary technical background

  • Experienced conducting primary research and synthesizing background, literature, and news on new materials and technologies/trends into executive-level content, conclusions, and actionable recommendations

  • Seven years as a consultant with GrowthPilot, an early-stage innovation firm dedicated to “making clients smarter faster”

  • PhD - Biomaterials, from University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand (conferred through Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering)

    • Joint appointment between University of Otago at Christchurch Hospital (Laboratory for Cell and Protein Recognition) and University of Canterbury (Nanofabrication Laboratory) as a part of the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology

  • BSc - Biomedical Engineering, from University of Wisconsin - Madison, specializing in Biomechanics

    • Also a four-year women’s soccer letter winner for the Badgers

  • Wide-ranging interests outside of work include tennis and soccer, classic movies, graphic design, and cooking new things

  • Longtime (mostly tragic) Atlanta sports fan

 

Partnership with Front End Research

LMM Innovation Group frequently partners with Front End Research (FER) to augment research throughput capacity via talented and trained research analysts. FER was founded in 2021 by managing director Eleanor Weber.

Experience and Education for Eleanor

  • 2022 Georgia Tech graduate with a BSc in International Affairs and Modern Languages

  • Minor in Technology and Business through the Denning Technology and Management Program

  • Three years at GrowthPilot as a research analyst, conducting research on emerging technologies and markets

  • Extensive leadership experience and involvement in various Georgia Tech organizations

  • Interests outside of work include modern languages, travel, art museums, and embroidery
